Is the Climate Crisis a Cumulative Crisis?
The climate crisis is a cumulative crisis. Every ton of omissions we can keep out of the arror, every omission source we can reduce, is a positive contribution. In that way, anything any corporation does is apossible. Almost none of it is meaningful or substantial when compared to what of these companies could be doing if they so chose. And i think the unfortunate realities we have to view most net zero pledges as means of deflecting from the actual, substantive, hard present reductions these companies can make.
