The Problem With Government Spending Ideas Is the Opportunity Cost
Science is going through something called a rereproducibility crisis. Half of all published papers are wrong, and it's worse in some fields than others. If you try publishing a paper that says breakfast is bad for you, I bet this is not the best way to do it. And i think this is really the issue, because the point was getting at earlier. The problem with all government spending ideas is the opportunity cost.
