The Case of Lucina Broadwell
Harry Broadwell would seem to have been the most likely suspect. He had an alibi, but nobody knew exactly when in the night his wife had been murdered. Wood dismissed the idea of Harry as a suspect and started looking for a clue. A clue used to mean a ball of yarn or thread; now it means something you'd use if stuck in a maze.
