It wasn't at all clear on TV wide as soon as it began with a really unfortunate speech from Billy Crystal. The musicians who were seemed a little confused about why it was happening. I think he had one of his best moments in recent Ben Affleck pop cultural history when he sat three inches away from Trevor Noah and refused to even smile at Trevor Noah's jokes.
