The Power of the Grand Jury in the Case of Megan Waterman
When I took office in January of 2022, I made Gilgo a priority. No one knows what you do when you operate a grand jury proceeding. Law enforcement did right by withholding information from the press since they knew he was watching. As true crime investigative reporters or true crime fans, we want all the info right away. We always do. But that's not how cases are built. And this suspect is alive and deserves his day in court.
