As health practitioners, people often ask us whether what they’re experiencing is normal. Without an understanding of your body and what is normal for you, it’s easy to be misled by all the misinformation out there, especially when it comes to women’s bodies. Most states in the United States do not teach medically accurate sex education. Outside of the school system, people turn to social media and the stories and experiences of family and friends.
