Do NSAIDs Inhibit Prostaglandin Production?

NSAIDs like indomethicin block cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, which effectively blocks production of prostaglandins downstream. Prostaglandins have many effects, but they are potent, vaso and venodilator. So they dilate arteries, they dilate veins. The next step here is to try to isolate the prostaglandin effect they gave into methicine that was blocked by it.
