High school counselor recommends that my child wait until spring of next year which would be tenth grade towards the end of pre calculus class. Another thing to look at is have they been through algebra 2 for sure right because without doing being through algebra 2 you're not going to do well on either test. Nothing is wrong with actually posting a really good score early like you can get it done and be done with it in some ways that's you can make a statement wow look like I crushed this score at an early age but most of the time there's going to be some natural brain development that you occur more some maturity even as you're just exposed to more math more reading you're not always
