Opioid Induced Hyposensitivity

i'm going to get on my soap box for a minute, because the opiate thing is something i cannot drive home enough. And god, honestly, i still see opiates bein prescribed loads for headaches. I think it's important for us to remember that headaches can come with many symptoms, such as nausea. But more importantly, when the opiate wears off, you are more sensitive to pain. Your pain threshold is actually lowered in thiste stances by opiates through a proces called opioid induced hyper sensitivity.
