Ryan's Decision to Take More Jump Shots Is Up for Debate

Ryan Anderson: Anthony Davis would be fine taking some more jump shots, but the way that the offense was structured with him only playing the five. He's literally setting screens almost every possession for either Reeves or LeBron or Russell. And then yes, he could pop out to three, but the offense still funnels better overall when he gives them the rim pressure because they're not necessarily going to get that from some other big unless they're doing inverted screens,. So it's probably somewhere in the middle and I think it would be good for the Lakers if he hits some more jump shot.
