The Fed's Attempt to Create Unemployment
When you see the Fed sitting on the sidelines watching all this happen, do they care? Do they care that people are frozen in their homes? Or are they just looking at a tight labor market and an inflation number that seems to be coming down. That is a major communication disconnect. I don't know whether or not it's just living in this silo where you don't like maybe, maybe Jay Powell just doesn't go to this guy probably Doesn't go to the supermarket on his own.
