What Are the Numbers of 11 Year Olds Reading?
One in five 11 year olds leave primary school unable to read properly. Now that figure is likely to have grown by about 300 thousand during the pandemic. Literacy and humeracy are the foundations of everything, insuring that our children recover what they have lost during the pand epidemic should be a moral imperative for this government.
