Boyd K. Packer's Parallel Between a Church History and an Attorney
Boyd K. Packer wrote a two-page letter to Joseph Lyman White after he was miffed with him for being overly sharing and transparent about church history. In the letter, Packer draws a parallel between an attorney representing a client versus a historian but in his mind they're the same. "Those of you who are employed by the church have a special responsibility to build faith, not destroy it," says Packer. The Multistory Adult Devotional Sunday evening airs at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
