In the 80s HR was called personnel and so it would be people that are worried about getting your pay right. They'll they'll put through the paperwork on hiring and terminating or things like that. Now we've got the employee relations person who is really strong in helping leaders manage performance get people hired you know take them through a performance improvement plan if that's what needs to happen. But we don't always see strategic HR leaders and the clients that we work with. No we don't and I didn't always work with strategic HR leaders either.
