Kim's Cell Phone Buzzed

Kim Madsen was an award-winning journalist. She covered issues such as climate change and nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands. The 30-year-old had recently moved to Beijing, China with her boyfriend Olèche Dábe. On August 10, 2017, Kim's cell phone buzzed: It was a text message from Peter Madsen. He told her that he'd been killed by North Korean authorities.
