Do Tom and Jerry Really Speak?

In your free time, apart from getting a tutor, be very selective about the material you use. There's a chance of hearing more advanced vocabulary and perhaps grammar if you watch and listen to ated about geanetics than tom and jerry cartoon. So think to yourself, what is the source? Where am i getting my material from? And think, is that likely to be a more advanced, a more academic and more formal type of english?
