The Importance of Traditional African Hair Breeding
African hair breeding is a centuries-old art creating beautiful patterns by tying human hair into patterns. Most people who do traditional African hair breeding were taught to braid by their parents, they've braided their entire life. Justina Clayton learned to braid as a child and ever since she was in college, she had been braiding in Utah. She got a cease and desist from the Utah Board of Cosmetology taking the position that because she touched hair, she had to be a licensed cosmetologist so she would have to go to cosmetology school.
