A Brief History of Antwerp in the 16th Century

i'm a foreigner in antwerp, so i looked to what foreigners were saying about antwerp. It took forensic work that would be different from studying renaissance era venice or pisa or milan. One of the advantages is that these are people who had to explain things to an audience back home. You also have an advantage, which is a quite sinister one, which is the inquisition records in different places. And i think what you can do fromis is build up a sort of steriostoo Antwerp. and i hope that's what the book is about.
