The Old Covenant and the New Covenant

There's a different symbolic order in each phase of the covenant. Gentiles are not outside complete outsiders in the Old Covenant. So you'd have to specify it's not just the Gentiles coming in, something more specific is happening with the Gentiles. For example, there's the whole arrangement of space and place to existed in the Old Testament that has been radically transformed throughout the Old Testament.
