The Student as Customer Mentality at Universities?

David Harper: I've sat on plenty of grant review committees, right? You read these proposals and you decide who to give money to. And in my experience, there's been plenty of very high reputation people who did not get funding from the committees he was on because they had kind of phoned it in in their grant proposal,. So I don't think that that particular move on the NA just part sounds very promising to me. No. None of the places I have been have thought of their students as customers.
