Introduction
The final lecture in the Association of Kings College's series on climate change. Professor Peter Houghton argues that theology and religion have a vital role to play in the response to climate change. He says there is an argument that they are at least in part to blame for our ecological crisis. In the first half of the lecture, he talks about one of the early articles in so-called echophiology which underlines the importance of theologians and scholars of religion for this conversation. The second half focuses on some of his own research which relates to issues of trauma, witnessing and lament.
