Is There a Framework to Communicate Effectively?
i grew up in a family without really any books. My parents were both bright, but they weren't modelling this kind of stuff very much at all. i had an epiphany moment when one of my training colleagues gave me a copy of al rapeport's book called creating shoulder value. reading that book startd to give me a framework to think about the world more effectively. Im al has grown into become a very dear friend and we collaborate on a lot of stuff. We wrote a book together 20 years ago. And i just say that almost to this day, my conversations with him are incredibly able to help flush out ideas. So yes to that, he would be great.
