How Do We Understand Time and Space?
We feel like we experience time, but it's not embedded in the way we understand the laws. That question is far from settled in physics. Two big camps of thought are those that say space and time, or at least time, is fundamental. Depending on which camp view you fall into, awewel decerning the answer to your question. i find it hard to take the view that we're forbidden from asking what was there before our universe existed.
