Warren Charlie US Electricity Demand Could Rise Over the Next 10 Years
Berkshire energy's annual spending is expected to fall from around six billion on average annually to around four billion in 2021. US electricity demand has flat lined during the past decade but could potentially pick up over the next decade with three emerging sources of demand electric vehicle charging data centers and cannabis cultivationexpected to account for more than five percent of total US electricity demand. Berkshire energy already has some of the lowest electricity rates in the areas where it competes.
