Greek word for apocalypse is apoc calypso which means to take away a veil effectively so it's kind of like the reveal on some of these reality TV shows you know where. The only reason to use the word apocalypse in its kind of Greek form I mean that's effectively  to unsettle the notion that what we've got is just a revelation of some information or pulling back of a veil to see hidden mysteries as Martin J. Barrientos points out. "The book of revelation is an action-packed book where the question of sovereignty and power is at the heart of it"
