Around 80% of people that I deal with when they reject the divine or leave Islam, it comes down to a form of traumatic experience. And our job is to get them to stand in the possibility that the meaning that you have given this experience or relationship or event is not the only meaning. We try to give them the meaning that would empower them and basically free them from the shackles of their own negativity, if you like.
