The Importance of Absurdity

Cervantes is doing something here that is actually really contributing to the Christian ethos and vision of reality. He's not going to say that this is Christ, but it kind of is going to fall on the line of the Holy Fools kind of spirituality of Russia. So my question is, what is the difference between just absurdity and madness? And then a kind of Ridiculousness that draws out something from the depths of the real heart of the Christian life.
