Teaching Business English - Getting to Know Your Students
You have to know your students first. Geted, know them now, their backgrounds, you knowf the baggage they bring into class with them. Use that in your planning so that you can anticipate those issues and be ready to teach them. I remember once i had an issue with a group of students. Every time somebody sniffed or me like like this, my a, i could see my my european students cringe and give them a dirty look. And then i realized, ok, maybe this is a good example, and it's a good point for us to touch on. It was actually kind of ironic, but we were doing a lesson on etiquette.
