Journalist Jeff Wise said that he met a number of the girls living on McAfee's compound. He would have multiple buildings on his property and he would house different women. The age of consent in Belize is 16. According to local news reports, several of the men in McAfee's employ weren't registered to carry weapons or licensed as security guards.
