The main character in Single White Vampire is a vampire who is pretending to be romance not pretending he's masquerading as a romance novel. And she's, if you all like grumpy sunshine, like there really isn't anything more grumpy than an ancient vampire trying to write serious biographies of his family. But those series continues on and it, you know, like I said, it's so long. The voice of the series starts to change. Some of the books are darker.
