Did Breton Comment on the Rise of Atheism?
Breton, a Catholic priest, thought that neo-Platonism was the spiritual grammar of the West. He sees it almost in a purific, an ascetic sense. It's Christendom of the A of Ages past. His only interest is in fidelity to whatever that means. And by eschatology, I don't mean flight from the world and letting the world burn because it's a conviction that as in the words of Christ at the end of the book of Revelation "I make all things new"
