The Three Types of Neutrinos
There are three types of neutrinos: electron, muon, and tau. The only difference between them is how they interact with the weak force. It matters in the accounting of the number of electrons or muons or tows in the universe. But if you just catch one in space, how do you know what it is? Because you weren't there when it was made.
