The German Artillery Bombing of Paris

Hundreds of projectiles fell on paris every day. But this bombardment was not about reducing the city to rubble and like killing everybody inside. So rather than ing the city into submission, it actually boosted everyone's morale. Like a sharp slap in the face. Paris was jolted out of its sluggish endurance and returned to a state of active and proud resistance.
