Origin's Theology in the Aryan Debate
For Origin, Jesus Christ was the incarnate Logos, wisdom, and son of the Father. His purpose here again was polemical. He wanted to defend the Church's faith against the modulus. It is this aspect of Origin's Christology which led to charges of subordinationism.
