The Person of Peter Is the Rock of Matthew 16 18
The majority of scholarship now to day accepts that the person of peter is the rock of matthew 16 18. In reality, like, you know, in our english translations, when we see like peter and rock, those are two separate things,. That's not really accurate to the original language, right? And so who was previously called rock? Peter, ok? So that when we get to the tra, so we already have some one called petros or rock, and then we get to petra, then we have tateus, which means this same rock who was just called rock, the person of PERETE.
