The Cost of TPU Hardware
Google has custom TPU hardware. Does it give it an advantage in terms of training bigger models and better models than you? So I think like when the first one that TPU came out, I was really impressed and I thought, wow, this is amazing. But that's because I didn't quite understand hardware back then. What really turned out to be the case is that TPUs and GPUs are almost the same thing. They are very, very similar. The only thing that matters about hardware is cost, cost per flow. Overall systems cost. Okay, and there is a much damage to a friend.
