Japan's Net Buy of Foreign Bonds Continues
The latest data from this little week after now shows japanese investors were once again massive net buyers of foreign bonds. This was a very kind of messed up and abnormal and idiosyncratic fiscal year portfolio allocation cycle so look maybe there was like uh you know kind of rushed to buy into fiscal year end last week just to have some proper sort of at least optically have like did proper diversified allocations likely these kind of levels of record size weekly buying amounts is likely not like a recurring thing but i think that over the course of this month um and just generally into you know boj at the end of april and then possibly beyond we might just see this continued a trend of just net buying
