There was a wave of skepticism about enron coming from very sophisticated investors, justjust wasn't public anywhere. It's almost as if there were two realities. There was the surface reality, which was the wall street analysts saying, buy this stock and it's going to double in the next year. And then there were these, you know, short sellers saying, an saying, very quietly, s it's a fraud and its going to go and its bankrupt. But there the two narratives didn't meet at all.
