Research shows there is a style of parenting that's better. It really has three ingredients, but i'm going to simplify it by combining two them into the same ingredient. The recipe for good parenting no matter where you are includes warmth and autonomy support. A great parent is not only supported, but also demanding that they're held to high standards even when they're little.
