The Boston College Eagles and the Providence College Friars
The Boston College Eagles were playing the Providence College Friars in the first game of the season. Rick Coon needed to guarantee that Boston would win by eight points or less. He told his co-caten, Jim Sweeney, how they'd need to manipulate the final score. After opening tip off, the Eagles come out of the gate hot, pressuring the Friars into 16 turnovers and taking a 12-point lead at halftime.
