The BEUC's Call for Regulation of Generative AI

A consumer group called the European Consumer Organization, aka BEUC, that initialism reflects the original French name of the organization. The BEUC is calling upon European Union regulators to actively investigate what risks generative AI actually poses to EU citizens. Apple has joined Google in sending out a message to employees saying it's a no-no to use AI chatbots like chat and GPT for internal company purposes.
