Luxembourg's Implicit Criticism of the Leninist Revolution
Luxembourg believed a revolution needed the largest possible scale within which surprising things could happen. She thought Lenin would never get beyond the point of his centralised control, that Lenin would never open up again. The thing that he held together was the narrowest thing, his power,. and the thing that he broke apart was the social structure. That, for Luxembourg, was the antithesis of the promise of Marxism.
