What Is Limited Licensing Legal Technician?
The limited licensed legal technician was someone who was not a lawyer. The scope of practice for LLLTs was very circumscribed. Only a few dozen were ever approved over the course of years. New York State actually was one of the pioneers in this area. They developed a program called the Court Navigators Program to help people, especially those in like eviction or landlord tenant cases.
