Animation Is a Medium, Not a Genre

Animation is a medium, not a genre. Out of genre, super suprele like a writingand i'm just going to say it, animation is not agenre. So when people ask me, how do i write an animation script, like, it's a script. It looks the same. There's no big shocking format change. I literally go through the structure so that i understand what i'm getting myself into. And it helps. You can steal that structure and then make it your own. But you have to understand it. That was one of the best advice that i got in grad school. If i'm writing something in a ganr i've never written in before
