Maria Van Arden inherited her father's impressive art collection. She decided to found a Hofia for elderly single women in the 1930s. The rules were straightforward: Only indigent, single ladies could live there. In 2023, Nazis are coming and they move 47 piece art collection to safe space. They felt that it was a shame to keep such an impressive collection of artwork away from the public.
