Cell-Grade Steaks - The Final Frontier
Colin Buchanan was the first chef in the world to cook a cell-grown chicken nugget. In December of that year, Singapore became the first country to allow the public sale of cell-grown meat. Fast forward to 2022, and Israeli company Aleph Farms is aiming for the final frontier. It's also aiming to create what it calls a self-sustaining food system to provide continuous access to fresh food for astronauts who travel in space for long periods of time. And this is the mission blasting off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
