Dionysus could see that the drama was winding down, so it was time for him to go. He didn't need to hang around and hear his brother's myriad justifications for being terrible. "It does undermine your family man arc, but episode construction wise, it really fits at the end," he says. Next week up, we see things from Aphrodite's side because she is C-foam green - a Kermit the Frog joke.
