The Nepotism of Tarquinius
It makes me wonder what happened there. I wonder if he's now trying to play some sort of nepotism game. It's like, uh, my nephew, that was a terrible misunderstanding. You know, legal stuff is complicated. And so now this nephew is in Tarquinius' household and he's like treated maybe like a son. But it is a whole lot worse than being an independent man and having half the fortune of Tarquinius. That would be real nice. So he doesn't get that, but he gets to be a kind of honored member of the household, which, you know, not so bad. He's leading the garrison of this conquered city, not
