The Art Box Is a Very Powerful and Sticky Dynamic
Minting is such a digital or ephemeral thing in many ways and yet so much of the value is this sort of this emotional value that feels like you kind of have to experience right. So many of these artists are actually seeing these things for the first time because it's almost easy to think of it as like a vending machine but there's so much randomness and excitement packed into it. I remember minting some of Jeff Davis's pieces and he was getting excited about what was coming out at the same time as the general public in the art box server. It really drives home this idea of joint creation the artist is like not fully attuned to like what the collection will look
