Buddhism and Hinduism in India
Buddhism became naturalized as a kind of part of hinduism. It didn't die in the sense that it was completely vanquished and obliterated. So you have a buddhism as another god in the hindu panthian. The re parts of india then began to look up to china, and perhaps even, to some extent, fear china. And there was some interference by the chunghers and so on in indian affairs.
